The Government’s plan to achieve Clean Power by 2030 requires a significant expansion of the UK’s grid to connect and carry low carbon power around the country. To get there, we need to build grid infrastructure at four times the rate we have been over the past decade.
RenewableUK’s new Clean Power Grid conference is our first conference and exhibition dedicated solely to the grid – with the 2030 goal at the heart of the programme. We’ll discuss network expansion, the progress so far, and the critical next steps we need to take to deliver.
Why attend?
Explore the future of the UK’s grid, connect with key decision-makers, and discover your place in the clean power mission. The programme will cover:
- The Clean Power 2030 mission, what it means for the electricity grid, and the strategic planning needed to deliver it
- Connections reform - where have we go to, and what is next to get this generation we need online
- Offshore network coordination and hybrid assets – explore the innovative ways we can collectively maximise the potential of clean electricity, at home and across Europe
- Realising the supply chain opportunity – learn about opportunities for investment in facilities here in the UK
