The energy system is changing with renewables generating more power each year. Renewables are now at the core of our future power system and essential to future energy security. RenewableUK and our members are an important part of this transformation.
To make it happen, we advocate to key decision makers on our members' behalf and raise awareness of the benefits a renewable energy system brings to the UK.
Our work across the UK
England and Scotland: Our team is based in London, near Westminster, but our members and employees are spread across the country.
Our work in Wales: Our regional office, RenewableUK Cymru, is the voice of the renewable energy industry in Wales. We have a dedicated team focused on supporting the rapid transition to a clean, green electricity system.
Our work with Northern Ireland: A collaboration of RenewableUK and Wind Energy Ireland, RenewableNI works closely with both organisations on issues impacting the sector.
How we work
We collaborate with our members to shape our policy, communications, and public affairs work. Together, we want the growth of the renewables sector to deliver the best possible outcomes for the UK economy, power systems, billpayers and communities.
We set the strategic direction for policy and engagement work through our Strategic Committee and the Strategic Forum
We provide member updates on policy and engagement work through regular Communications and Public Affairs meetings developing policy recommendations, shaping consultation responses and producing policy papers through our Working Groups and engagement with our members.

Renewables are playing an increasingly important role in powering our homes, businesses, and communities.
