Ana Musat
Executive Director, Policy & Engagement
Jane joined RenewableUK in 2022 and serves as the Deputy CEO, as well as the current Interim CEO. In her role, Jane champions RenewableUK’s more than 500 members to drive awareness of policy challenges, galvanise support and delivery of renewables, and publicly highlight the sector’s benefits. As a leader in the renewable energy industry, Jane also heads the Offshore Wind Delivery Team, working closely with the Offshore Wind Industry Council (OWIC) to align the Government’s ambitions for the Offshore Wind Acceleration Programme with tangible actions. Her work is central to ensuring the UK's world-leading offshore wind industry continues to expand and achieve its growth targets. A chartered mechanical engineer, Jane previously served as the Director of Regulatory and External Affairs at Ørsted, where she played a pivotal role in shaping industry regulations and fostering strategic partnerships between the Government and the private sector. Over the last decade, Jane has built a deep, sector-wide expertise, contributing significantly to landmark collaborative initiatives such as the Offshore Wind Sector Deal and the Offshore Wind Growth Partnership.
Dan McGrail took up his post of Chief Executive at RenewableUK in May 2021, and was seconded to Great British Energy to act as Interim CEO in March 2025. Previously he was the CEO of Siemens Engines, having joined Siemens UK in 2004 and worked in a variety of roles across the energy industry. Between 2010 and 2014 he led Siemens plans to develop and invest in offshore wind turbine manufacturing in the UK, securing the world-class offshore wind turbine blade factory and port facility in Hull, negotiating with the UK Government and overseeing one of the company’s most significant factory investments in its recent history. The Final Investment Decision of £160m was announced in 2014, alongside a £150m investment by Associated British Ports to revitalise Hull’s Alexandra Dock. As Managing Director of Siemens Power Generation from 2014 to 2017, Dan expanded Siemens UK’s activities in the thermal power market. He became CEO of Siemens Engines in November 2017, leading the rebranding of the company and helping to secure significant growth.
Ana is the Executive Director, Policy & Engagement at RenewableUK. She oversees the trade association’s policy work across all renewable technologies, as well as the programme of engagement with members, media and other external stakeholders. Her role is to deliver policy change that accelerates the transition to a renewables-based energy system that delivers socio-economic benefits for the UK. Prior to joining RenewableUK, she was the Head of Policy at Aldersgate Group and also served as a Lead Consultant for the Green Finance Institute’s Coalition for the Decarbonisation of Road Transport.

Elizabeth (Liz) Conboy is RenewableUK’s Executive Director, Commercial, responsible for its growing membership base, industry-leading events portfolio and market intelligence platform, EnergyPulse. Liz joined the organisation in spring 2024, having held several senior commercial positions across the live-events sector, and is passionate about expanding the reach and impact of RenewableUK through its membership network and forums.
Garth leads the team delivering our award-winning programme of events that provide networking, B2B, brand-recognition and thought-leadership opportunities to companies in our industry.
